Board Op/DJ
                 Mountain Communications currently seeks a part time board operator/DJ. We’re looking for someone who is well organized, outgoing, has a good on air voice and can work evenings and weekends. The qualified candidate must be a self-starter, possess strong communication skills, be well disciplined, dynamic, and motivated to succeed. Responsibilities include hosting an on air show (studio & remote broadcast), live programming/board operation, etc. Successful candidates will be able to work well as part of a team and can create rapport with listeners. Experience preferred, however, not necessary. If you have an outgoing spirit, this may be the right job for you!!

Overview
 

                Mountain Communications manages five radio stations in New York State’s Adirondack Park. Stations include Y106.3 (WYZY-FM) ROCK105 (WLPW-FM and WRGR-FM) 1240 WNBZ and ESPN Radio 920 AM. Our formats target audiences of all ages and provide programming designed to excite, inform and serve our listeners while connecting them with our advertisers. It is our mission to support the communities we serve, promoting economic development and quality of life in these communities.
 

                Founded in 1997 with the purchase of WYZY and WNBZ, Mountain Communications added WLPW-FM Lake Placid, WRGR-FM Tupper Lake and ESPN Radio in 2002 with the acquisition of Radio Lake Placid, Inc. We currently service over 40,000 listeners throughout Clinton County, Franklin and Essex Counties with regular locally produced News, Classic Rock, Sports Talk and Adult Contemporary programming.
 

                 This is a career opportunity for an energetic self starter who is well organized, enthusiastic and detail-oriented. The position requires good communications skills, both written and verbal, and Applicants must demonstrate excellent computer skills, a good on air voice, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.
