Before upgrading to cover the entire Northern Rim from Potsdam
to Jay Peak and as far south as Rutland in Vermont, Y106.3
served a region of The Adirondack Park including Lake Placid and
Saranac Lake, NY. WYZY moved in 2008 to a new tower near
Plattsburgh, at the top of Lyon Mountain. This new, expanded
coverage has given us an opportunity for huge listener growth
and Arbitron Ratings are showing this to be true for Y106.3.
With the right leader in Plattsburgh, we'll be able to maintain
the growth and continue to strengthen our relationship with the
communities we serve. |

The
Local Sales Manager will act as the primary contact between
Y106.3 and the community. He or she will maintain a personal
list of advertisers while recruiting additional salespeople to
prospect and develop new business. The growth of the sales
effort in the region may also warrant retention of a local sales
office in Plattsburgh, including an assistant as time and the
sales effort may warrant. |

The LSM's compensation is commensurate with experience and where
appropriate a salary plus a commission on personal sales plus an
override for additional local sales plus additional bonuses and
benefits. |
